A little bit about us!
Myself and my daughter's have been working so so hard lately to make shopping with us easier for you all. During this time we have had amazing messages of support and well wishes for us and our little shop, and so I thought I'd share a little of the history of Kidz Korner.
My name is Julie Sheridan, I own and manage Kidz Korner. I am a mum and a granny. My parents moved to Ballinasloe town in 1975, they opened business most people of Ballinasloe know by heart, The Jekyll & Hyde bar and Sheridans stores. My father Tommy was the face of both businesses and one you all know well, and as they say behind every good man is a better wife and that is my mother Eilish. I worked in both my parents businesses from an early age and grew to love my little town. My parents retired from business 4 years ago. I knew I couldn't leave retail and the faces of customers I had seen and served everyday for over 35 years, so I spoke with my partner John,my parents and daughter's and decided opening my own shop was the road I would take. I opened Kidz Korner with my partner John, my 7 siblings, my beautiful parents and my caring daughter's supporting me and I haven't looked back. We are now going through a time of massive change and so myself and my daughter's decided to do an upgrade and put Kidz Korner online to make your shopping experience easier and more convenient. I am old school and love a chat and to be able to wrap presents and serve customers so I hope so dearly to get back to you all soon.
